The court granted Semcon's motion to dismiss for lack of personal jurisdiction:


CLERK'S JUDGMENT. IT IS SO ORDERED AND ADJUDGED that judgment is for the foregoing reasons, Semcon is not subject to personal jurisdiction in California for the declaratory relief claims asserted in the complaint. Accordingly, Semcon's motion to dismiss pursuant to Federal Rule of Civil Procedure 12(b)(2) is GRANTED, and this case is DISMISSED without prejudice to refiling in a jurisdiction where Semcon is subject to personal jurisdiction.
